Get ready to laugh out loud. Every 2nd Thursday, Cyan Bar & Lounge hosts one of Mentone’s most entertaining nights out — stand-up comedy with cold drinks, great food, and punchlines that keep on coming.

Stand-Up Comedy at Cyan Bar & Lounge is fast becoming a favourite on the Melbourne comedy circuit. We’re hosting some of the funniest up-and-coming comedians around, with plans to bring in seasoned pros who know how to light up a room.
Sharp wit, cheeky banter, belly laughs you won’t see coming — our MCs and headline acts take care of the entertainment while you sit back with a cocktail and a platter. It’s the perfect excuse to round up your mates or a date and make a proper night of it.
With great food, signature cocktails and an atmosphere that’s electric from the first act to the last, comedy night at Cyan is the kind of local gem that gets added to the regular rotation fast.
Make a Night of It
Comedy nights are better with good food and cold drinks — and we’ve got both sorted. Settle in with a cocktail, mocktail, wine or cold beer, and pair it with a share platter or something from our full kitchen menu. Crowd favourite bar snacks, hearty mains, and our signature cocktails are all available throughout the show.
With free street parking, a buzzing crowd and great tunes before and after the acts, there’s no better place in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs to kick back and enjoy a night of live entertainment.

upstairs, featuring a full lineup of comedians. This is our showcase night: bigger crowd, bigger energy, dedicated comedy audience.
Weekly Open Mic
downstairs, every Thursday. A separate, more casual night where comedians can test new material alongside musicians and performers. Great for trying out fresh jokes in a low-pressure room.
